Welcome to the Cyclos mobile app help page. With the mobile app you can do the following:

The mobile App has a menu bar on the top. In this menu bar the following icons are displayed:

The first time you login, you will be asked to enter your user identification and password. For most systems using Cyclos this is your username and login password, in some cases this might be for example your phone number and password/PIN. When you login the second time your user identification will be saved.

Guest settings

In the settings the Cyclos URL can be set. This URL will be given to you by your organization that is using Cyclos. Here are some examples how to insert a domain "https://communities.cyclos.org/mycommunity", "yourdomain.org", "www.yourdomain.org", or "www.yourdomain.org/mycyclos". Tap on "Submit" to activate the new URL.

Users settings

Here you can access to the password management actions, fingerprint definitions, payment settings, and POS assignment.

Accounts

Here you can view your account information such as balance and sent or received payments. When you have multiple accounts an overview of all your accounts is shown first. Tap on this account will take you to the "account details" page. When you have only one account you will immediately see your account details page. In this page a summary of your account is shown first, showing the accounts balance, followed by list of all sent or received payments. When you have paid somebody else, the amount is shown negative in red, because it was subtracted from your account. And when you are paid by somebody else the amount is shown positive in blue. When you tap on these payments the payment details page will be opened, which shows more information about this payment.

Make payments

Here you can make payments to other accounts. To make a payment you have to select first to whom you want to make the payment.

After you have selected to whom you want to make a payment, fill in the necessary fields and tap on "Make payment". Finally you have to confirm the payment by pressing the button "Confirm payment". In some systems you first need to enter your transaction password, before the payment can be confirmed.

Receive Payments

The mobile application allows to receive instant payments by specifying the payer through different identification method, like NFC card, contacts, user search, etc. Once the payment data is filled the payer can confirm the payment using his credentials

Accept Payment requests

Here you can cancel or reschedule a requested payment, and accept or reject a received payment request. Tap on the payment request button you can filter by open or closed request, those with negative amounts corresponds to received requests and those positive amounts corresponds to requested payments. By selecting a row you can access quickly to payment request details. From the payment request details page you can perform different actions based on the request status like accept, deny, reschedule, or view transaction details

Receive QR payments

The mobile application allows you to receive payments by scanning a QR code, you need to specify amounts, transaction types, descriptions, and other required fields in the page accessible from the home page. Once the process is finished the QR code will be displayed, so the payer can confirm the payment. In case the payer to confirm the process without using the mobile application, the receiver can share an URL by email or instant messaging and the payer can finish it using a web application

Manage your Vouchers

Here you can buy, redeem, search open and redeemed vouchers. When buy a voucher you can choose the type, quantity, and amount. Once the buy is finished you can see the voucher details with its rules. The vouchers been bought by other user can be redeem from the redeem voucher in the home page. The redeem process can be done by scanning a QR code, or by manually entering a token. You can also check the redeemed vouchers by selecting the "View redeems" action.

Contacts and users

Here you can manage your contacts and view the users their information. By tap on one of your contacts you can quickly see the users profile information and quickly make a payment to him. To see the profile information of another user or to add him as a contact, go to search users on the home page, type his user or login name in the field and press "Search". Then you can tap on the user, this opens the "User details" page, showing the complete profile of the user. In the buttons below you can add the user to your contacts by pressing the button "Add to contacts", or make a payment to that user by pressing the button "Make payment". To delete somebody as a contact, go to your contacts, select the right contact and tap on the button "Remove contact".
Note: you can create or update a contact either through the mobile App or the web, this is just one contact list you can edit from these two channels.

Password management

Here you can change your assigned passwords, like login password, or confirmation password. To change a password you have to set the current and the new password or in case it is a generated password you just have to select the "generate password" button and the new generated password will be displayed once.

Multiple users support

The mobile application allows to operate with multiple users, after the first login the App will remember the user and the related data (e.g payment settings, fingerprint, print settings, etc.) for easier access later on. At login page there is an action to switch the current user, login with a new user or stop remembering an user. There are some features like confirm an operation with a trusted device which can be performed at login page, in this case the current remembered user configuration will be taken.
When a different user is selected at login page some features like confirm operation with trusted device, login with fingerprint will be visible or not based on the current user configuration and permissions.
